Players and Supporters,

Dundee Rugby is delighted to share with you that we will be participating in the Leisure and Culture Dundee (LACD) 'Come & Try Day!' at Slessor Gardens on 9th June 2018.

LACD is describing the day as follows:

Come along and join Leisure & Culture Dundee for a fun-filled day in Slessor Gardens where we’ll be showcasing all the activities we have to offer across our sport & leisure centres in Dundee. There are FREE activities for everyone including archery, athletics, adult fitness, family fun sessions, Street Soccer, tennis, netball, ParkLives and much more.

For something more adventurous, come and test your skills on our Climbing Wall. At 6 metres tall, can you hold on to reach the top?

Everything is FREE and we’ve got plenty of staff on hand to help you with the activities, and provide information on where you can take part on a regular basis.

For more information contact 01382 432317 or email us at garry.smith@leisureandculturedundee.com
(Height & weight restrictions apply for some of the activities).

This promises to be a real celebration of sport and one that we are very lucky to be part of.

More information on our commitment will follow in due course, but in the meantime, Dundee Rugby requests that you share/promote this event on FB and on other social media.

I shudder at my own cheesiness, however... the LACD event is called 'Come &'Try''.

'Try'... get it...? (I'm hanging my head in shame)

With 'try' in the title, surely we can promote rugby as being one of the friendliest and most exciting sports in the area..?

Please share and be prepared to support our 'stall'. In broad terms; we want to provide local Primary and Secondary School pupils the opportunity to smash into tackle bags, bounce off tackle shields, pass to their friends and family and play 'tag' rugby. To do this, we need your support.

Thanks for reading and the Club hopes to be inundated with volunteers...!!!
